GARBA - NAVRATRI FESTIVAL

The Garba is the folk dance of Gujarat (North India). We play and dance together, most often in a circle, clapping our hands and twirling to the rhythmic sounds of Gujarat. It is traditionally danced during the Navaratri festival that honors the goddess Shakti for 9 days. Sunday 29 September we celebrate the first day of this festival.

Adorn yourself with your most beautiful colorful Indian clothes, your most beautiful jewels and join us in this incredible adventure. Everyone is welcome.

This activity is led by Sarah, who will teach you some traditional steps that you will then dance together in a circle.
